Get ahead of these party crashers and keep your patio ready with these cheap and easy to make mosquito repellent candles. Not only are they effective, but they also act as a nice decor element to your summer soiree!

I pinky promise you this is easy...All you need are the items listed below:

• 2 Pint Mason Jars

• Floating Candles

• 1 Lemon

• 1 Lime

• Basil

• Lemongrass Essential Oil

(Note: This ingredient list will yield two candles)

Once you have all your stuff, here’s how you make these little beauties:

1. Slice the lemon and lime, add to Mason Jar

2. Add a few sprigs of Basil

3. Fill Mason Jar with water up to the threads

4. Add in 10-15 drops of lemongrass oil, stir

5. Place floating candle in jar

6. Light and enjoy a pest-free party!
